Who we are…….
In the early 1950’s, a group of believers came together to establish a new congregation in the small
coastal town of Lantana, Florida. They met in several different locations prior to acquiring the entire
city block property at 900 South Broadway. Once the property was purchased, construction
commenced.

Sixty years later, the church, now named
Maranatha Bible Church, stands strong as a
testimony to the work of the Lord and the
obedience and generosity of His children. A
mortgage was never acquired to provide the
funds necessary to develop the property. God’s
people responded to the need and His church
was built. Our current desire is to finalize the
complete build‐out of our property and develop
a tuition‐free Christian school for families to
receive spiritual and educational skills, to fight
the good fight and finish the course while
growing in the Grace of God. Click on our ARK

The founding members of Lantana Community
Church (the original name) played a special role in
the establishment of this church. Not only did
they have the unique privilege of building it with
their financial support and faithful prayers, many
of them participated in the physical construction
of the church! With their incredible support,
faithful prayers, and hard labor, a new church was
built to minister to the community of Lantana,
Florida.
